Before posting a question in the forum, please take a look if your question can be answered by any of the frequently asked questions:

Q: Where does the roomcontroller get it's power?

A: The roomcontroller can be poweredin 2 ways:

  • Possibility 1: (PREFEABLE)

The pins 5 & 6 are provided for external power supply (24VAC or 24VDC) for the coupled actuators (VAV’s , valves,…).

    Change IO task
  • Possibility 2: (if only 3 wire available)

You can also use the 24VDC from the DIOC communication protocol for the power supply.

In this case there must be a bridge between pin 4 and 5 (24VDC) – and 2 to 6 (GND).

    Change IO task
